The Hearth presents: FIRE!Feast in Chintsa East
To celebrate our new-found space and get the villagers out we threw a big fire-themed party last night. There was live music from Jen Schneeburger, DJ Justin Salza and his lights and visuals, fire dancers, Emerald Vale spit braai and beer, Village Bistro sangria, a cake stall and mojitos on sale, face painter and other delights for the kids, and of course PLENTY of fire and lights. Entrance was free and there was no age restriction. It was a great success. These are some photos from the festivities:

Collaboration by drawing class students
This week's adult drawing class produced a beast of an art work by five students taping together several large sheets of paper together and collaborating on a mixed media 'drawing' responding to the word 'projection'.

The Hearth represents artists from various backgrounds, and caters to a range of tastes. Most of these artists are open to commissions, and can work with your idea to create custom work.
