Something to look forward to here in Cintsa East is a new program of regular film screenings. We'll start off on Friday 17 February with the Luc Besson's 1988 director's cut of The Big Blue, starring Rosanna Arquette and Jean Reno. Tickets are R50 with wine/R30 B.Y.O. Regretfully no under 15s allowed.

Adult Advanced - Tuesdays 9:00 - 11:30 R120 per lesson incl. materials
The beginners class:
No experience necessary, just have an interest in drawing or creativity of any kind. This class trains you to see, and to open the bridge between the seeing apparatus of the imagination and the drawing muscles of the hand/body. The class has already begun, however it is flexible to allow drop-in students to attend.

The advanced class:
Some art-making or other experience working with the creative process is necessary. This class explores the definition of drawing through experimentation and conscious mark-making processes and exposes students to alternative mediums for drawing. Drop-ins welcome.
Some shots from the Adults Advanced class earlier this year - students had to find 'other' mediums to draw for e.g. teabags and soil, and then bring in more conventional mediums such as ink and pen:
